Welcome to the 2023 North Star Swim Team season!
Registration is open on the website for returning swimmers, please register by May 25th. There is no age requirement to join the swim team but you must be able to swim one lap of the pool unassisted. If you are unsure whether your swimmer is able to complete a lap, please wait to sign up. You can bring them to the first day of practice, May 30th, and we can let them try before you register. Don’t worry, there will still be space for them on the team.
We are excited to welcome new head coach, Dawn DeLuca! She brings with her over 20 years of coaching experience and we are lucky to have her. You can read more about her and our other coaches on the website (https://northstar.swimtopia.com/).
When making the decision to sign up for the swim team, please be aware that volunteering during meets and snack shack donations are mandatory. Each home meet requires 60 different adults working in different capacities and away meets require 20 different volunteer positions. Every family that signs up for the swim team will need to complete at least four shifts during the season as well as snack shack donations. Thank you for your understanding and support.
The dates and times for practices and meets are on the website. More information will be updated as it is received from the Suburban Swim League. We will also be holding a parent meeting at the start of the season. We can’t wait to have another great season!
